John Walsh has led teams in the high-tech industry for over 20 years, nine of them living and working in Asia and Europe, in several technology solutions & services companies at a scale of $2B in P&L, teams of more than 10,000 in over 100 countries, has closed over $15B in sales, and improved profitability by over $600M annually. John brings deep experience in running and transforming critical systems for government missions in the defense, civil, intelligence branches and in banking, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and aerospace.
John is trained in board governance in 5 countries, has served as Chairman of the Board in over 14 companies and held several roles as a Committee Chair, Board Member, and Board Advisor in several others. John has advised governments and companies of all shapes, ownership models, and sizes world-wide. John is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a member and contributing author of the Forbes Technology Council.
John has held several CXO and senior executive roles in Fortune 500 companies and is the Founder & CEO of Red Summit Global, a board and board services advisory firm. From large publicly traded global companies to venture capital / private equity / angel investor technology start-ups, John has helped transform hundreds of companies accelerate sales growth, improve profitability, and optimize technology investments.
